Local Clients Target Local Search

It only makes sense for clients with a brick-and-mortar storefront to target local customers. A pizza restaurant in Cincinnati isn't interested in someone from Seattle finding their website (not less, of course they are getting ready for a trip to the Queen City).

Three of our "local" clients - Swan Floral & Gifts, Aveda Beauty School and Ann Weber Massage are currently targeting local keywords in order to increase business from local customers.

Swan Floral, located in Erlanger, Kentucky, seeks local customers in Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati. When they retained our services three months ago, they only had one keyword - their domain name - ranked in the Top 10 in any search engine. Today, we have increased their search engine presence with 10 keywords at the No. 1 position in Google and another 10 keywords in the Top 10 in Google. One keyword - "next day flower delivery cincinnati" - is currently returning over 1.1 million search results.

Aveda Beauty School, located in Columbus, Ohio, is targeting "Columbus" and "Ohio" keywords to attract more beauty school students. Presently, the website is ranked No. 1 on six keywords in Google with another five keywords in the Top 10. On the keyword "skin school columbus", Google is returning over 2.2 million search results.

Ann Weber, a licensed massage therapist, also is targeting local keywords to improve her client base. While Ann's website is currently No. 1 in Google with "massage therapist Cincinnati", she has 10 other keywords in the Top 10 in Google.
